When you have a baby you get sooo much advice. Some of it you take with a grain of salt and some of it is super helpful. Since Little Missy is baby #2 for us I thought I kind of had it down. HA! I don't know what I was thinking. Every child is different. Super L was not the kind of baby who was bothered by teething. He was a big time drooler for sure. But teething pain rolled right off his back. If it was bad it was easily remedied by orajel or baby tylenol. This is NOT the case with Little Missy. She is a miserable teether. Poor thing! She cut tooth #3 last week and tooth #4 this week so needless to say the last 14 days have been rough. She cries, drools, gets a runny nose, night wakes, and absolutely demands to be held 24/7. We are all worn out. Even L!!! I have tried it all people.
Cold washcloth. wet washcloth. dry washcloth lol
Frozen teething ring
Soft bagels to chew on
A finger to chew on
Frozen fruit to chew on
Ice cold water in her sippy
All of this stuff does little more than take the edge off for her:( The only place she forgets her teething woes is in the bathtub so yesterday we took two lol!
I took both of my kiddos for their well checks on Monday. Super L got his 5 year kindergarten booster shots and Little Missy got her 12 month shots. Ugh! No one was happy but at least we got it over with.
Super L weighs 43 lbs and is 41.5 in tall.
Little Missy weighs 21 lbs and is 29.5 in tall
It's going too fast folks! I actually have to pre-register L for kindergarten in April. APRIL! I haven't quite come to terms with that let me tell you. I cannot believe this is his last semester of pre-school. I will definitely be that hysterical mom come August who needs to be escorted from school in tears lol;) SIGH. At least I still have a few more years with the Little Missy. Let's hope those years aren't anything like the last two weeks lol! I love her to pieces but she is a handful.
If anyone has any other teething tips not mentioned above please share!!!
