Remember what I said about January? Yeah well I wasn't kidding. Turns out Super L definitely had a stomach bug on Thursday. I know this because he so sweetly shared it with me and I spent Saturday laid up in the bed wanting to DIE. J got it on Sunday. Thankfully the Little Missy is the only one who was not sick. I've been suspiciously eyeing her as a carrier ever since;)
Anywho that is why I have not written her fabulous first birthday party post. BUT I did get all the pictures uploaded! That's a start.
I also have been holding up my end of the New Year's Resolution bargain by eating healthier and going to the gym. As a result...I got on the scale this morning and saw a number I thought I would NEVAH EVAH see on the scale again!!!
I don't really want to post exact numbers but I will tell you this.
From January 2012 to January 2013 I lost ...drum roll please...58 lbs!!!
WOO HOO!!! I almost sat down and cried and I'm not even kidding. I told J and I swear he said, "What's wrong with you?" He thinks I might be dying of some terrible disease lol;)
I told him this diet is called the,
"I have 2 kids and no longer have time to eat and oh when I DO eat I make better choices and actually go to the gym...diet."
I still have major goals as far as strength and toning up ect but I feel like I am finally in a good place to start.
I seriously think I owe it to Pinterest! If not for all the fabulous healthy food and workout tips I pinned I doubt I would ever have gotten here. It's definitely not all about numbers either. Mainly I want to be really healthy and strong for my kiddos. I'm looking forward to Spring and walking with Little Missy in the stroller and watching Super L ride his bike.
