Falling off the planet

NO I didn't actually fall off the planet.  Although sometimes it probably seems like I did!  I have 2 goals for the new year.

#1.  Get back in the gym!

Seriously I have to do this.  I was doing SO GOOD from January until about mid July when I started getting migraine headaches.  No lie I had a migraine for almost 3 weeks.  I finally had to get a medrol dose pack to break the cycle then I started taking Topamax.  Well then the headaches stopped but all the Topamax side effects began.  It was pretty rough.  I had to stop taking it and when I did I felt like I had the flu.  At this point I was probably into September and the kids started back to MDO so between me working part time and them going to MDO part time life just plain old got busy.  Finally, with all the holidays behind us I think I can get myself back to the gym regularly.  It's a promise I need to keep because it was sooo good for me and I felt great.  I have had all the baby weight off and then some since September but I need to do some strength work for sure.

#2.  Blog twice a week

I have horribly neglected this blog.  It's hard having 2 kids!  I seriously have NO time to myself.  Not even to go to the bathroom most days lol;)  But I think I can manage twice a week.

Also...today is a VERY important day.  Because today my precious baby girl turns ONE YEAR OLD!!!

Can you believe that?  It's 12:20 CST right now and at this exact time last year I had just been admitted to Labor and Delivery and found out I was in full blown labor and would be having a baby that very day.  I was totally unprepared.  I didn't even have a bag with me!  Now look at this precious girl:

This sweet angel is 1 year old today:)  She likes to say Dada, Mama, and Uh Oh!!!  She eats everything we put in front of her.  She sleeps all night long and she is *this* close to walking.  I can't believe it.  She will stand by herself for about 10 seconds before she sits back down and crawls.  I know that first step is going to be any day now.  SIGH.  She is into everything.  She will put anything she finds on the floor in her mouth so I have to watch her like a hawk. She still hates the high chair.  She would let someone hold her all day.  She is a cuddler and loves to give hugs.  She still uses her paci and we are still working on the sippy cup.  We are working on transitioning her to whole milk.  I can tell she is going to be a lot harder to work with than L was:( She is the happiest baby ever.  She really is.  She is still tiny weighing just under 20 lbs.  Her pretty dark hair is finally growing in and her eyes are definitely hazel like her daddy's.  We love her so much and cannot imagine life without her!!!
