8 Months Old!!!

Have you been wondering where I've been and how I've been doing?  I've been one busy girl let me tell you!  I am 8 months old now I am quite the little princess...or so I'm told;)

I have developed many talents this month.  I have really mastered sitting independently and I said my FIRST word.  Guess what it was?  DADA!  My mama could have died!  I say it ALL.THE.TIME.  Dadadadadadadadadada.  Sometimes I say babababababa too.  Oh and I can totally fit my whole fist in my mouth?  What?  Can't you?

Even though I can sit independently I sure would prefer to stand.  Mommy wonders if I will skip crawling and go straight to pulling up and cruising/walking.  She will just have to wait and see!

I am such a happy girl all the time and I LOVE my big brother.  He loves me too.  We are best friends.  I sleep all night now and have a very regular schedule during the day.

I've really become a much better eater!  I will eat more purees now as long as some finger foods are offered as well.  I LOVE cheerios!  I still don't have any teeth but I hope it won't be long.  I'm tired of drooling everywhere:(

I've finally noticed this thing in the house they call Louie.  At first I thought he just a toy or something but now I smile at him all the time and I like to sneak him cheerios when I am sitting in my high chair.

It's been a big year so far and I am really looking forward to Fall.  Mommy says there is lots to do and next week I get to try this thing called "school."  I'm sure I will like it though b/c I am so laid back:)
